Extreme Drawing

Kids apps without subscriptions: one honest price

For parents

Pay once, or not at all

Extreme Drawing is free to start, with no time limit. If you want more, one optional unlock adds the full toolbox: €5.99 in the eurozone (local prices in each store), bought once by a grown-up behind a parent gate. No subscription, no ads, and nothing to buy inside your child's play.

The short answer

Yes, Extreme Drawing has one in-app purchase, and we'd rather tell you that than hide it. It is a single unlock, paid once. It doesn't renew, doesn't expire and doesn't come in levels or coins.

The free part isn't a trial or a teaser. It is a complete toy that stays free for good, and your child never sees what they don't have.

Two ways a kids' app can charge

A subscription

  • A payment every month or every year, until someone remembers to cancel

  • A free trial that turns into a charge

  • Content that can disappear when the subscription stops

  • Often a lock or a price inside the child's screens

or

One unlock

  • One payment, once, made by a grown-up

  • No trial to cancel, no renewal date

  • Everything bought stays, and so does everything your child made

  • Every tool we add later is included

What's free and what's in the full toolbox

Free or paid is decided per tool, and tools never move between tabs. When you unlock, the rest simply appears in the same tabs, in the same places.

Free, for good

All the drawing tools (crayons, coloured pencils, markers, paint, watercolour), the paint board and the drawing kit (ruler, compass, spiral gears, perspective, stencils). Every tool in the Kitchen, Science and Toolbox tabs: ketchup, ice cream, eggs, bread dough, red cabbage juice, magic milk, the eruptions, the iron, the fire and more. Every time skip: wait an hour, wait three days, bake in the oven, put in the freezer, a week in the sun. Plus water, the sponge, paper towel and bleach drops in the Bathroom, glue and glitter (so salt painting) in Craft, and the ants in the Garden, which arrive as a welcome gift.

In the full toolbox

The rest of the Garden (mud, sand, leaves, seeds that sprout, and the pigeon, puppy, cat and snail), the rest of the Bathroom (spray bottle, soap and suds, bleach pen, squeegee, hair dryer, vacuum and more), the rest of Craft (tape, confetti, googly eyes, stickers, stamps, rollers, hole punch, toothpicks) and the whole Toy box (toy cars, water pistol, balls, bubbles, slime). And every tool we add later.

How the purchase works

  • Only a grown-up can buy. The purchase sits in the grown-ups' area, behind a parent gate with an easy sum (like 37 + 40). There is no buy button anywhere your child plays.

  • You choose how it arrives. Everything at once, wrapped as a present for your child to open, or one new thing a day.

  • Family Sharing. On iPhone and iPad, one purchase covers your family through Apple's Family Sharing. (Google Play doesn't share in-app purchases between family members.)

  • New device? Restore the purchase from the grown-ups' area; the store remembers it.

  • Seasonal events are free for everyone, paid or not, and are never sold.

  • Nothing is taken away. What your child has, and everything they made, stays.

Does Extreme Drawing have in-app purchases?

One: an optional unlock of the full toolbox, bought once by a grown-up in the grown-ups' area behind a parent gate. There are no coins, gems, subscriptions or second purchases.

How much is the full toolbox?

€5.99 in the eurozone. Each store shows its own local price in your currency before you buy.

Is the free version a trial?

No. It has no time limit and nothing in it stops working. The free tools stay free.

Will my child keep asking me to buy it?

We try not to give them a reason: your child never sees a price, a lock or the tools they don't have. The new tools just appear after a grown-up unlocks them.

Do I pay again for new tools?

No. Every tool we add later is part of the full toolbox, and seasonal events are free for everyone.
